What's wrong with your current case? The more you can tack off the more budget you have towards what really matters.

Yes a mid tower is perfectly fine for any gaming PC. Reason I ask, is because if I work a case into it, I would be putting in a cheapo 30 dollar one to put more budget towards your GPU/CPU.

If you intend on keeping your GPU the way it is, this would work:
ASRock B85M Motherboard
Intel Core i5-4430 CPU
Rosewill FB-03 ATX Mid Tower
Patriot 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 RAM

With MMike's OS choice, your total would be $440

So taking out the case and using mikes ebay windows 7 pro link I could put about 70-90 back into the cpu or motherboard. Whats the difference between the normal stock windows 7 and the pro version? Also thanks for the suggestions so far

Pro supports more than 16GB of RAM. If you won't ever use more than 16GB of RAM in the lifetime of Windows 7 then you can go with Home Premium which is only 99 bucks.
