I think I might be spending a bit on upgrades for my pc, just got my paycheck today so after a few hundred to my mom for college, I have a few options:

1. 2nd GB of PQI DDR2 800 Ram
2. Creative X-Fi ExtremeGamer Soundcard (I have Logy x-530s)
3. WD Raptor for OS + Games

Or replacement upgrades

4. 20-22" Widescreen 5ms LCD (sell 19" 8ms LCD)
5. C2D e6300 w/Asus mobo (sell AM2 X2 and Asus M2N)
6. eVGA 8800GTS (Sell 7900GT KO)

So many choices...but basically.. I want to aim my pc for Crysis action when it comes out so I want to slowly creep up on it. (I will get a DX10 card eventually)

Will my 2.7GHz AMD handle DX10 crysis at 12x10?

What is the best strategy? Thanks!

the later three are major... I would only do one, and it would be a big push to do one of em because i'd have to sell something. I can only spend like $200 here...

In that case benny go for the upgraded RAM

a raptor could be your next move or if you do 2 than do that one as well.

soundcards really arent extremely significant unless you REALLLLLLLY are picky about how your games/music/movies sound.

i personally got an Icemat USB soundcard and am quite satisfied :D i see no reason to upgrade it
