Default Need help picking parts for computer... Yes.. I know.. Another one.

Ok well I want to build a gaming computer and am still not sure of what parts to get.. I have a few choices and here they are..

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo 2000MHz HT 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Dual Core Processor ---- Or ---- AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 2000MHz HT 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor

Motherboard - ABIT KN8 SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard ---- or ---- Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

Case - Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Just need some advice.. What parts would you change and what would you keep?

Change the motherboard to either DFI lanparty Ultra-D Or MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum....go with the G.SKILL Ram and defiantly the x2 4400+ unless since you picked out good ram already you can get a Opteron 165/170 and OC it. Dual core is essintial in buying a high end PC at this point in time.

i would get the 3800+ and save a couple hundred for the Conroe... the 4400+ isnt that much better, just more L2 cache, which i am told will only increase performance by ~10%. It's still dual core, but waaaay less expensive
