Default Need help with i7 Gaming Build (Aus)

I have decided to put together a new Gaming PC before I miss out on all the good PC games out at the moment. I live in Australia so I am not able to purchase items from newegg. I also realize that an SSD is not really necessary at the moment but I am keen to try one by putting my OS on it. I also plan on overclocking.
My Budget is $2900AUD which does not have to include a monitor/Keyboard/OS.
This is what I have come up with anyway.

CPU
i7 920

MOBO
eVGA 132-BL-E758-TR

RAM
Corsair TR3X6G1600C8 6GB

GPU
Asus GTX295, 1792MB, 896bit, DDR3, PCIE2.0, 576Mhz

SSD
APEX SERIES 060G SATAII 2.5" SSD OCZ OCZSSD2-1APX60G APEX SERIES 060G SATAII 2.5" SSD

HDD
Western Digital WD6401AALS 640GB CAVIAR BLACK/7200RPM/SATA 3GB/s /32MB CACHE/3.5"

PSU
Corsair CMPSU-750TXAU Power Supply:750W ATX12V v2.2

OPTICAL
Sony AD7200SGB DVD-RW Drive

CPU Cooler
CoolerMaster RR-UV8-XBU1-GP

CASE
Antec Nine Hundred

So yeah, I am sure there are some items there that are not great choices so if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction I would be really grateful.
EDIT: I plan on playing at 1920x1200 or 1920x1080.

For the ram, i would get these instead:

OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Platinum 3x2GB OCZ3P1600LV6GK OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Platinum 3x2GB OCZ3P1600LV6GK [OCZ3P1600LV6GK] - $199.00 : PC Case Gear, Quality case accessories and components

Everything else looks pretty good, but i think you could get stuff cheaper from the site above.

That EVGA motherboard is very expensive over here, and i would think about getting a cheaper X58 like the P6T, which is similar in performance:

ASUS P6T Motherboard ASUS P6T Motherboard [P6T] - $349.00 : PC Case Gear, Quality case accessories and components

The V8 is a good cooler, although the TRUE and the Core Contact Freezer are both slightly better in cooling terms. The V8 does look good though.

Yeh no rebates either. We are actually closer to the places where things are manufactured, but i think we get taxed alot...

Since you have the budget, you could consider getting a Blu-Ray reader if you don't one already (or a PS3); it would be a shame to let that 1080p/1200p monitor go to waste The burners can be really expensive but the readers are about 40-50 quid here so perhaps AUS$70-80?

The Dell 2409WFP is a very good one, but a bit pricey. You can often get discounts of up to $150 on thier site:
The Dell Online Store: Build Your System

It uses a very good panel so the colour and viewing angles are very good. If your looking for something cheaper then the BenQ G2400WD is supposed to be very good for the price. I cant remember who sells them in Oz, but look around and i think they are abou $400.

Check this list out before buying a monitor, its a great guide with some really good info:
