Need help building a gaming rig

Hey all,
Well I have an old AGP P4 gaming system now that's just not getting it done anymore. I worked a lot this summer and would like to get a brand new machine to revive my PC gaming days. Thing is, I've been out of technology for quite a while and I'm not so much up to date on all of it anymore.

I'm looking to spend around $600-700 and I would like to buy all the parts from Newegg.

Anyone up for putting together a list of the parts for a decent gaming rig?

might want to get a better gpu, gtx260 are cheap

For the resolution I'll just use the highest I can get away with and still get good FPS,I'm not so picky about this.
