Switch the RAM to 1600MHz, and you might want to consider getting the Extreme 4 rather than the Z87M. Other than that, it's fine.

Yea, all of the "app" stuff is pretty much invisible if you never use the Metro interface like me. I actually use one app all the time which is the weather one on the far left edge of my left monitor but if I didn't run that I'd never have to see any of them. Charms bar, Metro, and all of that is almost nonexistent with Startisback. I mean, I'm not saying you should get what you don't want, just that you can easily sidestep all of that. Not to mention, you have 8.1 in the part picker list.
