What I am saying is, I think the raptors are what you put into a rig once you have everything else max'ed. Load times are not really that fast compared to 'normal' drives.

yeah actually they are really fast in comparison, many people here have the raptor, and they can vouch for the faster load times.

They do not benefit performance once you are in a game, a sound card or a 175 if he is not overclocking.

They are great in the 150GB size once there is not one component that could be better.

i'd only agree with the opteron because it is cheaper than an x2... unless he's going am2 then he can get a nice 4000+ for 325 bucks

I can vouch for the raptors, I have the 150 GB Raptor.


my god those things are fast.

BF2 loads really quick, like I mean fast!


And they are not loud at all. I highley reccomend it
