I bought my MX 510 for 30 euro 3 years ago and it's still alive and kicking like I had just bought it.

Wired feels safer and trust me you wont regret buying a razer copperhead or diamondback they are works of art.

Strange, over here I can get it for $47
That's Australian dollars, too (which is about US$39)

*edit*
here it's a little cheaper:
Logitech G3 Laser Gaming Mouse 931691-0403 Laser Mice 2000 DPI USB Port-Best Computer Online Store Houston Buy Discount Prices Texas-Directron.com

Anyway, the G3 is a great little mouse. It's lightweight, and very easy to handle.

With the setpoint software, you can increase the polling rate to 1000Hz, and it also has a 2000DPI laser
You can switch between two DPI settings with a button below the wheel, and you can change what DPI settings it switches between in the setpoint software.

It is competitive against the G5, and the razer mice.
What it lacks are
  • the ability to adjust between more than two DPI settings (but that's not a huge deal)
  • the ability to adjust weight - not many people really need to. Plus, some people like having a light mouse, anyway.
  • the common logitech shape. Though I still found it very easy to get used to.
