Whats the big difference between the ones I picked and the ones you linked me to?

You'll want 8 phase power for a quad and also the NB SB Mosfet cooling

So which one should I buy? The Asus p45 or the Biostar p45 you linked?

they're both good except the biostar has another pci-e 2.0 slot and the layout is better. Look where the 24pin atx power goes on the asus board

It's up to you. I personally like teh layout of the biostar but the asus does look alot nicer and definitely has 8 phase power. I can't find any info on whether the biostar has 8 phase or not. Grab the P5Q

Mind me asking why I need an 8 phase?
