well its adaptive contrast management (ACM), so yes its structured on dynamic contrast ratio.
its different than dynamic, but similar. a little better.
2500:1 native..LOL. for 170, i think not.

i got a hanns 22" with 1000:1 contras, 5ms. for $200 after 40mir.

I like the 22" Widescreen Samsung 226BW 3000:1DCR 2ms Response Time. I love this monitor the color is good, and its just the right size for games.
