Hey everyone. Just looking for some feedback on my i7 build...

RAM: Corsair Dominator 6GB
GPU: EVGA GTX 275 Superclocked
Hard Drive: (2) Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB
Optical: LG Blu-ray/HD-DVD GGC-H20L
PSU: Corsair 1000W HX Series
Case: Antec 1200

Total: ~$1740

I decided to not spend a lot on my GPU because I want to be future proof and ready to upgrade for the GT300 when it's out.

Yeah, I realize the 1000W is a bit of overkill at the moment but I do intend to CF ATI's next card or SLI the 300 series and who knows how much power those things will need.

Get the 850tx then, that will be more then enough even for crossfire with new cards. Also you should consider getting a Sunbeam core contact cooler, The difference between this and the u120 is small and is the contact is much cheaper.

Also you might want to consider getting a 4890, its on overall better card and i just found this wicked deal at newegg
