You should go with a 3700 and get the regular core that should set you right. You wont need to OC either, I wold'nt recommend you do it

yeah just buy a new one. that way you can have head to head multiplayer on cs:source with your freinds when they come over cuase you have two good machines and not just one.

dont man u computer is fine just get your dad a dell and with the money left buy a better video card, which u woudl enjoy more then buying new mother board and new processor. belive me a video card is more important in games then the processor is. basically any processor with p4 3 ghz equal perfomance is good enough for any new games. but your video card needs to be mid-high end to play new games at good graphics.
