need advice on some components

hi guys need some advice for building my new machine:

1. amd 64 mobo: should i so for MSI K8N NEO4 Platinum or DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D, or should i stick with ASUS?
I am not planning to Ooverclock it

2. Which company produce good HD? I got a Seagate 200GB and i feel it is **** ...what about samsung - pretty cheap

3. Should i buy normal CDRW and DVDRW or go for Plextor ??

1) get MSI K8n Neo4 cause ur not ocing and its a good cheap board

2) get a Western Digital Caviar for storage, and if u want a WD Raptor for System programs

3) DVDRW, namely the NEC 3550A

Actually, the MSI K8N Neo4-F is a good board for overclocking. It's not as good as a DFI LanParty, but it's a lot cheaper, has plenty of features, and the BIOS is fully capable of overclocking easily. I'll second that though, from personal experience with the board.

I agree with john3's other recommendations too, I also have all of those in my build, lol.

Actually, the price difference between the two mobos is only 10 bucks, looking at newegg. I feel that Seagate is the best HD manufacturer, but if you really don't want it, go with the western digital like john3 said.
