Default Need Advice on computer - $1300

Hi, i'm looking to buy a new tower - i'm not very experienced in the world of Chips, processers, cards, ram, hard drives all this stuff. I'm looking to play WOW on this machine as well as other various games - but mostly WOW.

I need this computer to beable to play WOW on high end video settings with high FPS. I don't really use the computer for anything else other than gaming.

This is my current computer - so definately better than this.

# Operating system:Windows (SP 3)
# CPU type:AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200
# CPU Speed (GHz):2.732
# System memory (GB):3.499
# Graphics card model:NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
# Graphics card driver:nv4_disp.dll
# Desktop resolution:1920x1080
# Hard disk size (GB):298.089
# Hard disk free space (GB):133.856

Hope someone can help
Thank-you in advance

Edit - I live in Australia - don't know if this matters at all - the budget was already converted

As soon as you called it a tower i knew you were from australia
anyway it doesn't take much to run WOW on high. Grab these from

Samsung 1TB Spinpoint F3 SATA II 7200RPM 32M
Corsair TX-650 650W ATX Power
CoolerMaster Storm Scout Gaming Black Case With Red Led(NoPSU)
AMD Phenom II AM3 955 Black Edition (3.2Ghz) CPU
OCZ 4G (2x2G) DDR3 1333 PC10666 Platinum LV (OCZ3P1333LV4G)
Gigabyte ATI HD5850 1GB GDDR5 PCIE2.0 2xDVI HDCP HDMI DX11
Samsung 22X DVDRW Black SATA (SH-S223C-BL)
Gigabyte GA-770T-USB3 AM3 AMD770 5200MT 4DDR3 PCIE2.0 GLAN 3x1394a ATX

$1176, some to spare, that 5850 will handle anything you throw at it for now.

<<<Please give me Rep if I have helped you<<<

I7 930 @ 4GHz : Noctua D-14
Gigabyte X58A-UD7 : Asus GTX 480
