Need advice on buying a new LCD monitor.

Well I need to buy a new LCD monitor for my upcoming build but I'm not sure what to get. I don't know if I want to make the change to widscreen or not. I want to get a really good monitor at least a 20 inch. I need it to be good for games, watching movies, and surfing the net. I would like also like to keep the price range around $300 or under if possible. I was thinking about getting this one and could use some opinions.

That is an awesome monitor. I'd say go for it. I would of went for that one, if I had the money. This is another good one for the price:

hey b1gapl you ever get that screptre hooked up via DVI, and the dvi hasn't died yet has it?

if screptre's didn't have such a bad rep i'd suggest it. that hans-g is a good monitor but the samsung is nicer. i've seen that samsung in person next to a viewsonic and all i have to say is WOW.

i'd go for the orignal one u suggest urself, samsung have good lcds
