NEC DVD burner issues

well one more question (i hope) and i'll be ofically done

i was installing some software and stuff... i had some office 03 cd's that i got at soft 4 download (100% legal by the way) and disk 1 wouldn't install so i pulled out my 2000 version. then all of a sudden in my computer my D: drive is gone! completelly!

does anyone know whats wrong with it?

check your connections some times they losen up at the wierdest times.did u restart.

ok thanks... my power cord came loose although it would still open and close, it must not have been enough power.

it all works now
