My tough Decision

I have to make a painful decision. it is that i either keep my dell and wait until i have more money and get the G71 or R580 video card with a new kick@$$ PC. OR, wait only about a month and a half and get my new kick@$$ computer

Crapp @$$ Dell:
P4 1.8 ghz no HT
Fx5500 256mb PCI not AGP
768mb Kingston value ram (256mb+512mb)
80w power supply (lol)
[edit] 40 gig Hard drive

New Computer:
DFI Lanparty Ulrta-D
AMD opteron 144 overloacked to 2.6ghz
1gb OCZ Premier dual channel
500w power supply
[edit] 160 or 250gig Hard Drive
GeForce 7800GT
Undicided case

the only difference ion my new computer with the better one will probably be the G71 or R580

you should probably just be patient... I mean, really... patience is a virtue. There's nothing terribly wrong with your crappy Dell. Is it doing what you need right now? If so, stick with it. You guys always go upgrade crazy... I can't stand it! I mean, I bought my computer 6 months ago, and I'll be set for 3 years. You should be patient and actually wait and skip a couple generations of gear and really UPGRADE when you upgrade.

If you can wait even 3 more months a lot of what you listed should be lower in price as new gear makes its presence known.
