Default my potential pc

thanks for the great site - you've been good in guiding my decision to this point.

based on what i've seen here, this is what i'm going for:

eVGA 256-P2-N386 Geforce 6800GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail $209
AMD X2 3800 $320
dfi LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultr $125
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Platinum System Memory - Retail $218 after 30 rebate

my budget is whatever, but not alot, so theres some freedom there. My main function is multitasking. video editting, net surfing, burning, etc.

another thing that will help, is compatibility details regarding this setup. i'm smart, but i dont have enough time to research the snot out of this. you guys are the experts! thanks in advance

and just so everyone knows. i may get a 300 gig hd, recs would be great... it would be for video capture. i have like 4 120gig hds i would use.

sound would be via onboard for now. i have peripherals, floppy drives are just for bios flash (can you do this with a jump drive?).
