Of course I was talking about nvidias lol. I'm not living 5+ years in the past, but I honestly don't see how the nvidia 9800 series could come out as early as christmas. But who knows anymore.

Yes thats what I think he meant. Also yes your right the X1900 series will play games just fine at medium settings on at 1280x968 or 1440x900 but still the 7900GS is a good bit more powerful than it when overclocked.

Nvidia claims G92 will be a 1 Teraflop beast

There was also another website I found it on that was more reputable than the inquirer. It also provided a quote from an NV exec.

Ah yes don't even worry about the G92 until at least spring or summer of 08. They haven't even released the 8900's yet and they are going to in the next few months.
