My newest Creation, I will post my previous build, since my Signature was disabled, even though ive been with the forums for 2 yrs >.< ... I will incorporate my opinions on the items as well.
Newest: (note: I was daring and used all new products , for me atleast, for this build)
Antec Nine Hundred Case :
--------------------------
*Great Case, the "Blow Hole" fan was enormous. Comes with all the fans you'll need. 3x120mm Blue LED and 1 200mm "Blow Hole" fan.
Asus Rampage Formula Mobo:
---------------------------
*Awesome Mobo, extremely easy to O.C, one click option in bios. Stays cool, and comes with good monitoring software, and 3dmark06 and Stalker for free.
Corsair HX 520w Modular:
---------------------------
*Solid so far, the modular ability on this PSU is a great way to reduce wire clutter, only cords that cant be removed are the Mobo Power (20+4pin) and the 8pin and 4pin Cpu power cords.
Kentsfield Q6600 2.4ghz, I have it mildly Oc'ed to 2.66ghz.:
--------------------------------------------------------
*Great power, stays just as cool as my other builds cpu, E6400. Using a Zalman9500 Cpu cooler. 25-35c (Non-Load -/- Load) Super O.C potential.
W/D 640gb HD:
--------------
*Nothing special, im not a stickler for the "uber" HD's. This works great for me. No Issues so far.
Zalman V1000 Gpu Cooler:
-------------------------
*Very nice Gpu cooler, Easy to install, allthough it takes approx. 1hr if your doing it right, (i.e. denatured alchol prep, thermal cooling, etc.) Dropped temps on my *BFG*8800gts 640mb by 10-12c.
Zalman RHS88 Heatsink (Compliment to the Zalman V1000 Fan/ Heatsink):
----------------------------------------------------------------------
*Easy to install with the Zalman V1000 Fan/ Heatsink Kit. Take your time and do it right, completely worth it.
Corsair XMS2 DHX 2x2gb:
-------------------------
*Solid, plain and simple.
And of course, Artic Silver 5 Thermal Compound x2:
---------------------------------------------------
*Good stuff to thoes who use it.
PREVIOUS BUILD:
Antec P180 Black Cold Rolled Steel Case

Yes i know, Wire clutter, hence the decision to get the Modular PSU ...
I am using a BFG 8800Gts 640mb, Windows XP home OEM SP3, Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 on the new Build.
Hope this helped in some decision making.
