Are you overclocking? As for an OS go for Windows XP pro.

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor - Retail $334.00
Cheaper, newer, and better performing version of what you had picked.

OCZ Value Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Dual Channel Kit System Memory - Retail $83.44
Somehow I dont think you are gonna be overclocking, so this RAM is gonna have the same performance, but for a better price.

LG Black IDE DVD Burner 5X DVD-RAM Write Model GSA-4167B BK - OEM $44.99
With money saved, you can afford to get a DVD burner, not just a DVD player

Intel E6750...........PSN: ELBATROP
XFX nForce 650i Ultra
Patriot PC2-6400 8GB (4x2GB)
eVGA 9800GT
36GB WD Raptor
120GB SG
Logitech X-530
Samsung SyncMaster 931c
Samsung SyncMaster 750s
Windows 7 Home Premium 64
