I agree....next time build on a platic mat or something. That way you do not have to worry about static electricity.

Nice build, but yeah the carpet thing was the first thing to shoot through my head when I saw the pics. Yeah, 6 gigs is nice. Do you need to upgrade to 6 soon though? Do you have slowdown in anything? I would wait for some more price drops if I were you. I went straight up six cause I used 2 gig sticks. I can go up to 12 now if I want.

Nice build. Clean up the wires a bit. I always set the motherboard up on the anti static bag that the board comes in. Good job.

buy a cpu cooler stat! my i7 runs cooler with an aftermarket cpu cooler overclocked to 3.8, than it did stock clocked with the stock cooler. lol
