okay man, you need at minimum: 1gig of ram, 7900gt, intel e6600 or amd x2 4200 to run current games on high to maxed.

Now if you think intel sucks, do some research. The new core 2 duo series is the best thing out right now.

Ok speedy relax were just trying to help. You were a little vague about your memory. Get a better mobo and a better processor the only game you will run maxed out with your current setup is soldat

I suggest this mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186102

And this processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115005

Im getting both of these for a upgrade on my computer. I read reviews on the mobo on maximum pc and its a pretty good mobo. The processor is really good and you can overclock the **** out of it.

Errr, sorry but my whole Intel hate just goes deep, not only that I just bought a new mobo ): . It's not the greatest but my last one went out and wouldn't connect with my network card properly.
I just got some specs from a friend though. He's running NWN2 on a 6800 GT with 1 Gig of ram. He has a 3.2 gh processor though. I've seen it run on his PC and it looked decent. Maybe my idea of maxed out was way out of sync because of my lack of actual PC gaming. I'm sure with a oc to around 2.0 gh on my processor my pc may be alright. I mean, what I have now and the Graphics Card will be pleanty to run games half decent, correct? The main one I'm worried about now is Gothic 3. I yet to own Oblivion, I've just played it on other PCs.

EDIT: I'm on a budget, meaning I have no job or money. This is the new 754 socket processor I'm looking at. Looks like the best for it's price.

ya that is better then the sempron.

If you are a really heavy oc'er you could do like my friend. He got his sempron to 2.76ghz stable on with a 25 dollar zalman cooler off of ebay.
