i've read the reviews from new egg about the wolfdale, apparently it overclocks to around 4.2ghz stabally for some people, i've never OC'd before so would i be able to handle that? also i might want to get a better motherboard, could you guys please suggest one?

also please leave comments on what you think is good / bad about this pc and what i COULD change

btw im going to use this for games like counter strike source or cod 4 or crysis etc

lastly please give me some suggestions on what i should do with the cd/dvd drive and hard drive :S and perhaps some fans?

well, get a seagate 7200.11 500gb harddrive, or two of em if you need mroe space.

yeah get a seagate 7200.11 rpm hdd. disc drive doesnt really matter too much any sony/pioneer/asus etc. drive will do. also im not sure how much that psu is but you could probably go with a 650hx instead if it saves you some money

yes, the one u have chosen is but u could go with a 650hx if its gonna save u sum extra cash because it will still run ur system fine.

theres no 650vx, theres a 650tx tho, and even that is overkill, try out a Corsair 520hx or 550vx

yeah, i was referring to tx sorry bout that. i suppose you could go with the the 520hx or the 550vx aswell. which one would be better? the vx has a single 12v rail with 41A while 520hx has 3 12v@18a

i would probably go with the HX

well, the HX does have more amperage but its on different 12v Rails, that causes some inefficiency, but the HX still would have a lot of amperage even if it did lose a few, at that point its all about how much money he's gonna spend, I mean for my PSU I'm just going to get a Corsair 550vx because I don't really need a lot of power
