I just got done building myself a new gaming rig

My specs

CPU- i7 2.66GHz
Mobo- EVGA X58
GFX- 2x EVGA 285
RAM- 12GB Corsair
PSU- Corsair 750W
SSD- 60GB OCZ
HD- 1.5TB Western Digital
SC- Creative SB X-Fi
Case- Antec 1200
OS- Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit

Are there any special tweaks you guys think I should do to this beast?

looks good...a lot of over done stuff you will not notice performance in...12gb of RAM is useless..i've never used more than 47% of my 6gb.....sound card might/might not be a waste depending on your ears i guess....all in all it's a good build though

It's very handy if you're running multiple VMs. And besides, it means he'll never have to upgrade RAM.

He will also find that with 12GB he can cache nearly every program he runs in the memory and it will all run incredibly smooth and fast. If I had an i7 I'd probably go 12GB as well
