You don't need to post 3-4 times in a row, just use the edit button.

sorry just a thing that always bothered me is editing something that was previously said or posted unless it was changed very shortly after

Editing doesn't mean you have to change what you previously said. You can just add to it.

Good, although I would have gone with either a 5770 or one of the higher end 5800 series cards (5850/5870)
the 5830 is generally not good value compared to the other 5000 series cards.

oh i only it because it only cost me $200 which isn't bad for a 5830. otherwise i would have gone for the 5770. I would not have pain the $240 list price.
