maroon's build is good, just trade the p45 board for a x38/x48 board, and get a SATA optical drive

My build has a SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S223F - OEM for an optical drive. Also for the mother board I picked a BIOSTAR TForce TP45HP LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail ...

You think that the x34/48 would be better than that board? What is a good x38/48 that I could pick up roughly for the same price that will be a good over clocker?

probably won't work when you're ready to order. and you can't crossfire unless you have a x38/x48 board.

solid build. i didn't see that you could crossfire with that board... and yeah, good. only thing i would change is to get a 520hx/650tx instead of the psu you have. also get a bigger monitor if you can... 19" is kinda depressing for gaming.

Ok, taking your advice I added the following;

Monitor
Acer AL2216Wbd Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor with HDCP support - Retail 219.99

PSU
CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply - Retail 109.99

MotherBoard
DFI LANPARTY DK X38-T2R LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail 184.99

Would that work better for my needs? Is that mobo good for Oc'ing and will that PSU handle 2x 4850's maybe possibly some day 2x 4870's or 4870x2's?

That's why I had this PSU OCZ EvoStream OCZ720EVOSLI 720W ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V Power Supply - Retail 84.99 before. I thought that 720W would be enough. It's on sale from 169.99... Would this one be ok then?
