How often do you see yourself upgrading? How much faster can a e6750 get to. Will that make much of a difference in non-quad core games?

If your not gonna upgrade pretty soon then I would just get a quad core since I've heard we should be seeing a lot more multi-core games.
But if you think you'll upgrade soon then maybe get the dual core for now and then sell it and upgrade for a little more cash (or maybe not more in the long run).

As long as you are happy with your decision. You know you are going to have a stroke bouncing back and forth between the 2 CPUs.

we'll see what amd has to push out... i may get my first AMD (well technically 3rd because of my x2 3600+ i had for 1 day, and that xp 1800+ i had b4 it went crazy i reused my P4)
