500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and four 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)

More than enough. The 850watt Seasonic that Ste gave you would be an excellent choice.

yea looks like that hd5870 are a bit excessive for my req. ahaha but i was checking this as a opt. the hd4850 with 4xdvi for all my monitors, down side is has no hdmi option for the lcd.

Total comes to:1993.9-2133.89

Any improvements or compatibility issues you guess can see or recommend would be greatly appreciated. My budget for my system was 2600 USD and this system so far is running 1993.9-2133.89 depending on the GPU or other modification i make.

This forum is very responsive and very up-to-date in terms of users and information and has be a great resource so far. So, thank you guys once again.

yea was looking at that earlier, sounds good that brings this system down another Benjamin 1892.89-2033.88

How about the gpu, you think getting the 4850x2 is worth it? or just get a dual card setup which will probably be more stable and run much cooler

i guess my last post didnt go through but as far as shipping via neweggs free service i was wondering about the quality of shipping the entire order together vs shipping smaller orders. I read somewhere there is a higher risk of collateral damage when you order everything at once...

It did go through, but your not supposed to double post so I merged them.

Please do not multi post, wait for someone else to reply before posting again.
