why would you choose to go with an ide drive? get this sata cd/dvd burner instead, few bucks more - SAMSUNG Black 22X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 16X DVD+R DL 22X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 22X DVD Burner - CD / DVD Burners

get this thermal instead - Tuniq TX-2 Cooling Thermal Compound - Thermal Compound / Grease

edit: wow, thats a bundle to pay for that hdd, ive never used it, all i know it so supposed to be fast but $230 fast?

You don't need HDD coolers, waste of money.

If you want hard drive coolers just buy a couple of these 100x100x12mm fans as they come with hard drive mounting brackets. I've even got a picture of one installed - Scythe KAZE JYU SLIM SY1012SL12L 100mm Case Fan - Case Fans
