Default My first build-gaming rig 800-1000$

Hello, I am planning to build my first pc. And that will be gaming pc.
I hope you can help me choose best components for my requirements.

Budget Range: 800-1000$

System Usage from Most to Least Important: : gaming, watching movies, surfing internet

Parts Not Required: : keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

Parts Preferences:: AMD or Intel i don't really care, basically what will works best for my needs. The same with graphic cards.

Overclocking: Yes (in future)

SLI or Crossfire: : Probably not

Monitor Resolution: : 1920x1080 (Envision P2271WL 21,5" )

Additional Comments: : don't like shiny cases with lots of lights, would be nice that pc is not too loud, not extreme gamer, so not need to play at all max out settings. I want to build pc that will be ok for me for at least 3 or 4 years without any major upgrades.
I also want to build basic pc at the moment and upgrade it after month or two when i get more funds(better cpu cooler, more rams if needed, etc..)

Well i have 2 options in mind; and you can tell me if is any good.

first will be AMD gaming pc: (cheaper option)

cpu: Amd Phenom II x4 965BE 3,4Ghz
]Newegg.com - Suggested Products

mobo: ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3
]Newegg.com - Suggested Products

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB Twin Frozr II OC
]Newegg.com - Suggested Products

+ other needed stuff

second option is Intel based pc:

cpu: Intel core i5 2500k 3,3Ghz
]Newegg.com - Suggested Products

mobo: ASRock Z68 PRO3
]Newegg.com - Suggested Products

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB Twin Frozr II OC
]Newegg.com - Suggested Products

+ other needed stuff

Go with the intel build. My AMD build in my sig is very loud. The stock cooler is a bit of a clunker. The intel build you've posted would be much better (like, alot better!) than that amd build.

SO the "+ other needed stuff"

PSU: Probably get away with a 500w one if you aren't SLI/Crossfiring your GPUs. Go modular so you can remove some of the extra leads.
RAM: G.Skill is good quality. Go for 1600Mhz though. Your Mobo can take it. Probably start with 2x4GB? That will be all you ever need.

Would this be an option as well? Decrease the RAM to 4 GB and with the savings get a 2GB 6950 GPU that can be overclocked to a 6970.
