Default My first build gaming pc! Advice needed!!

Ok so I decided that I would like to build myself a gaming pc that runs around 1000 dollars. Over the past week I have been researching stuff and I am still somewhat confused on the how to choose the best motherboard and how to determine what power supply is needed. I am just not sure if the motherboard is overkill or fits into the build. But this is what I came up with for my build and would like to have some advice on it.

My Build:
PCU: Intel core i5 2500k
VGC: HIS IceQ X Turbo H695QNT2G2M Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
SSD: Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F60GBGT-BK 2.5" 60GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
HDD: HITACHI HDS721050CLA362 (0F10381) 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Thermaltake TR2 RX 750W Bronze W0382RU ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
CASE: Antec Lanboy air Red Black / Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Modular Case

So this is the build that I came up with and am looking for advice on how I could make it better. I will put windows home 7 premium on it and use it for school too. I want to be able to play league of legends and skyrim on high settings as well. I found all of this around 1200 dollars. Also I wanted to mention that I chose the antec lanboy because I go to college and I do take my computer home when I go back, so that is one of the reasons I chose that. Thanks for taking the time to look at my build and give advice.

Ok so here is my build now after reading some more stuff about builds and getting some advice. Hopefully I can put in a purchase tonight after some more advice!

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K - $180 from local store

Mobo: - ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $125

Case: $120 ($90 after mail in rebate)

PSU: - OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular High Performance Power Supply compatible with Intel Sandybridge Core i3 i5 i7 and AMD Phenom $90

GPU: $270

RAM: $30

HDD: - Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive $130

SSD: - OCZ Agility 3 AGT3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) $150 after mail in rebate
(and later I would get another HDD to go with the 120GB SSD, but this is just to start with my windows and 2 games that I play)
DVDR: $20

So here is what I have. Should I go with the 120GB SSD for now or just get the 1 TB HDD if I am mainly going to be using my computer for gaming. I do like to listen to pandora as well when I play games, so if that matters about the storage device. And I do plan to upgrade down the the road and possibly add another graphics card to the system. Is my PSU a good one for now?

If you are only going to get 1 drive now I'd say go for the SSD first.
Pandora streams music, so it doesn't take up hard drive space. But if you do store a lot of music/movie files on your hard drive you may want to go for the mechanical drive first.

The power supply is fine for now, it might be a little tight if you are running 2x 6950s and overclock your CPU.

Also, if Skyrim is your main focus I would also consider a GTX 560Ti 448 core, since as far as I can tell Nvidia cards are doing better with that game.

The EVGA Classified GTX 560Ti 448 Core is the same price as that 6950.
