Well, my almost new 200gb harddrive just crashed on me, **** maxtor, so i decided when/if i do get that new 200gb harddrive from my warranty, im going to build a new computer with it, and some other parts i got lying around. I dont plan on overclocking, if i do it wont be much, but i plan on doing some light gaming on it once i get a decent pci-e card in the furture since i cant afford one right now. Remind me of other things i need for building a computer or parts i need that arent on this list.

Looks pretty good, but if you don't plan on OC'ing, you probably don't need the extra CPU heatsink, especially since your case has a bunch of fans.

its an oem CPU, and the heatsink and fan is 10$ so its still cheaper then buying the processor retail with a crappy heatsink. Also, i still havent found answers for my 2 questions yet xD!

I didn't realize it was OEM, in which case it is defiantly a good idea to get a heatsink. You wouldn't want to leave it naked.

T550 looks great, but only has one IDE, and i dont think its possible to setup your CD drive and HDD on one IDE channel, but if i end up having to buy a new SATA drive because maxtor wont replace that harddrive that died on me, then ill consider the t550.
