It would play Crysis well I imagine but the slower CPU is going to hurt you. I suggest downgrading the Ultra to a standard GTX and upgrading to a Quad-Core CPU. Then overclock your GTX to stock Ultra speeds.

The OCZ GameXstream is ok but there are better PSU's as it suffers from heavy ripple.

i would recommend the corsair 620 hx for PSU, as its plenty and more stable and efficiant, not to mention modular
also i would go with higher quality RAM, such as crucial ballistix, patriot Extreme performance, or gskill HZ (if you can find them cheap)
also whats wrong with your current case? its a nice one
downgrade to a GTX...you'll still be able to run it on max with the high-end proc your saving for
and since your getting a new motherboard JUST for phenoms, think about it, no benchmarks or anything and they only have middle-end to low -end out right now :/
i would go with an intel motherboard...as they probably are going to stay on top

i want a full tower lol, i cant go quad core cause i want a phenom later on so i went with a cheaper cpu, i could go even cheaper, i like the ultra tho as it does give a performence increase over the 8800gtx, and quite significantly in some games, anyway, i kno the cpu would slo me down but its only for a month or two, and im not ocing so no point in gettin beter ram. i was wondering if i should downgrade on the cpu even.

i got the corsair psu. its cheaper to.

if your not overclocking...then i guess the phenom is for you...
going with the GTX and using that money you saved on a higher end phenom would be ideal

i dont wana spend extra on good ram , well i might get some hz's or some crucial when the phenom comes out. i could drop the ultra get a 8800gtx, and get better ram, then when the phenom comes out pick up a another 8800gtx for sli. i want this rig to last me a while like this one did, it lasted me about a year and a half.

$1000?!?!?!
you could get a core 2 extreme, which would dominate a phenom
but would cost alot more
but you have a very high budget
