use rivatuner it's the best in my opnion. never used ati tools. use fraps for F.P.S for on screen while playing games too.

Use rivatuner, just up the clocks a bit and use ATI tool to scan for artifacts.

What i do is look up similar cards and see what people have ocd too and try to get close to the same clocks.
