Would doing this allow you to level up 5 people at once? Seems like a good way to actually build up characters fast enough to actually make a bit of money by selling characters.

you should be able to do it with a q6600 and 2/4 gigs of ram , in this case youl wana go with some ocz, you get good performence for quantity, and youl be able to oc it a litle, you will also need a 64 bit os, i suggest vista premium 64, with a heavily oced quad, i doubt you can do it for 1000$ maybe 1500, cheapest i copuld picture it being is 1200.

Overkill on the graphics. A 3870 could do it with ease.

you oculd run that on somethign way less. i ran one instance on low graphics on a 800mhz p2, integrated graphics, 6gb hd, and 128mb of ram
