If you have the money the Logitech MX 1000 costs around $60 and I don't really have a preference with keyboards.
For me any keyboard and optical mouse will do.

Those Logitech ones are nice, I had a wireless one. I don't recommend wireless mouses for gaming due to the problems I had, but they are still good. My new mouse is a Razer Diamondback and I love it. Also I have a silver and black Compaq keyboard and I love it. Wouldn't thinka compaq keyboard would be any good, but its keys grip to fingers and push down easily so its not anything like a Dell keyboard. I would prob suggest some kind of Logitech keyboard though.
