I will be building a computer in mid-august, and most likely will be getting a conroe. I have been looking at motherboards, and am having trouble picking one out. My main problem is that I want an SLI board, so I can upgrade later on. Unfortunately every LGA775 Board that supports SLI only supports DDR2 667, instead of DDR2 800. Why is this? also if I wait untill after Conroe is released will new motherboards come out specifically designed for conroe, or does everything that uses that socket work together?
If anyone knows of a mobo that supports both SLI and DDR2 800, please post the model. or explain why they dont exist. thanks.

*i am just finding out that the chipset of that board doesnt support conroe. what chipsets do?
