Default Motherboard(s) >:(

Other than the p35-ds3r(and C version), is there another good mobo with firewire?

I'm not too sure about OCing right now, but would the p35-ds3r suck if you don't OC?

I have a feeling I won't be OCing for atleast a year after I build this system.

Another good one is the P5K series, from ASUS.

The P35-DS3R wouldn't suck, if you don't OC...but you'll be missing out on it's overclocking benefits.
