if a motherboard has PC3200 memory listed as standard, will it work with PC3500 memory? I had bought the XMS3500LL PRO.

I am looking into getting a different motherboard because I am sick of waiting for the new ASUS A8N32 SLI Mb it has been a month now.

So I am looking at the DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR to make sure it will work with all of my components which have already shipped.
Do not want incompatability issues.

Yes, you can use RAM that's faster than the motherboard; the motherboard should automatically underclock it. What doesn't work is when you use RAM that's slower than the motherboard's minimum speed, I believe.

Can the motherboard run it at the PC3500 clock speed rather than the PC3200 clock speed??
