I would agree with both Peter and b1gapl. The DDR3 might still have some glitches and since the DDR2 is still the mainstream right now, I would trust it more then the DDR3.

I am convinced that it is not wise to buy a DDR3 motherboard right now. I am still struggling with my motherboard purchase. I want firewire, and I am not sure that I will ever overclock.
