Welcome to the forums.

You came to a place that can help.

I was going to buy prebuilt around 6 months ago....the people on here talked me into building, and it is the best thing I have ever done. I love my pc.

Any way I can recommend my mobo, however it is pricy.
Asus P5N32-E SLI

It is definitley a gamers board, so if thats not what you want your pc to mainly do,then I would not purchase it.

You will get alot of help and suggestions here, then you can make your choices. Enjoy your stay and have fun building.

Wow thanks for the quick response. Nah, I'm not a huge gamer but do enjoy playing them. I was thinking something alone the lines of one of these Cheap Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 v3.3 MB P965 775 PCI-E DDR2 SATA Raid GLAN Firewire Audio Core 2 Duo..... GA-965P-DQ6 Intel P965+ ICH8R chipset Supports Intel® Core™2 Extreme / Core™2 Duo / Intel® Pentium® - Price Comparison - Buy at cheap prices . What do you think?
