I agree.

I'm running this mobo right now and its rock solid. The only thing that sucks is the sound....

As far as ram a lot of ddr2 is overclockable. I can run my Patriot ddr2 800 at ddr2 1067mhz or maybe higher if I loosened the timings.

They were 200 bucks 2 months ago on newegg - they're driving the prices of RAM wayyyyy up.

What? And once again, why have RAM prices gone up?

well technically demand is driving the price of DDR2 ram up.

Since core 2 duo has been launched a lot of ram has been purchased - especially higher end ram.

Newegg seems to be on the fore-front of jacking up ram prices - all other retailers following suit.

Gigabyte DS3 is an okay board, also good for OC'ing... cheaper than the P5B Dlx, but the DS3 only has one PCIe slot.

Heres the cheapest 2Gb DDR2-800 dual channel set

Another with better ratings
