Default The most insane build ever planning ...

Ok just bought a FX-55 build last month and feeling of hunger in coping up in technology, Im desiding to shell out again for my "ultimate machine".

Im planning to buy a brand new rig with all the latest technology that man can give me...Should be able to:

1. Multitasking...I dont want hassles when playing a game then suddenly gets choppy because of an virus update for example, or I want to play and do business like burning CDs and DVDs

2. Game performance..I want the very best when it comes to gaming, play it all in the super max setting, all AA and others enabled and still running it smoothly

3. OC capability...Squeezing every juice is worth the money for me..

4. Runs good in photo and video editing.

5. Should have the largest LCD monitor around..

Now, Conroe is coming so its up to you what build you will gonna suggest me. you can suggest me both for AMD and Intel. Please provide me links so I can see the product.

CPU
CPU aftermarket cooler
Motherboard
Memory
Video Card
Hard Disk
Casing
Fans
PSU
Sound card
LCD Monitor
Speakers (surround)

anything I missed out? just indicate it...^_^

MY BUDGET IS MINIMUM OF US$ 3000. I think its already too much right? But if not, you can go beyond that but maximum of US$ 4000 only please ^_^

Thanks a lot

The LCD monitor will set you back at least $2000, so you won't have a very nice computer.

Get a smaller LCD and save LOTS of money, that way you can spend it on better componants for the computer.

Two things:

Wait for Conroe (already said you are)
And if you are going to be spending this much money, wait for G80.

I assume you'd want sLi, or Crossfire, right?

And what about two harddrives for RAID!

How much is the largest LCD around? I am willing to dish out something like $2000 or more.

Ok, maybe I should wait for a while for Conroe and G80 cards. I read G80 cards will be released somewhere in September am I right? By that time, I can have a $ 5000 budget.

Again, I do not care how much that largest LCD will gonna cost me but I WILL BUY IT NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT IS. I want my rig to have a large screen while playing. Im not contented with my 19" right now and I want something BIG :P Just tell me the price of the CPU parts and that large LCD panel. ^_^

Cant wait to grab that s--T!! ^_^ Budget is now at $ 5000. Still insufficient?

Stick with 2GB of ram for now. Windows XP can only handle 3GB of ram, and actaully runs faster with 2GB. Windows XP is unable to efficiently access 3GB of ram, plus 3GB of ram will not run in dual channel which will also hurt performance.
