Default More memory less FPS???

Ok i have this memory in my gaming rig

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145587

So i decided to pull out 2 512 sticks of Centon memory out of my Internet computer to fill up the other 2 spots in my gaming computer. When I installed them i lost almost 20 FPS and it only recognized one of the sticks. Can anybody tell me what is up with that?

Probably one of the sticks are bad. Or try them in the other slots. Also 2GB in dual channel, is optimum for gaming, and is more than enough.

2 gig is more then enough, and also your centon mite be a slower freq, and thus slowing down your other memory.
