Default more cache memory vs. raid two hdd

I'm trying to find out whether i should get a single 16mb cache memory hdd or two 8mb cache hdd and raid them.

Does anyone know which set up is better than the other?

Raid will give better performance while a single drive will be more reliable. You'll have the same amount in RAID 0.

i would use a RAID 0 array but it depends on the price. i would only use a RAID 0 array on expendable data though as their is a chance of data loss. for instance a RAID 0 array for games.
