Default monitor help

hello!

i was wondering which one of these monitors would be a better purchase for console gaming (xbox360).

Newegg.com - Samsung PX2370 23" 2ms Full HD LED BackLight LCD Monitor Slim Design 250 cd /m2 DCR 5,000,000:1 (1000:1)
OR
Newegg.com - ASUS VW246H Glossy Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) Built-in Speakers

Also if you have any recommendations that would be great!

my budget is 300 dollars and i would prefer a 23 to 25 inch monitor.

Yeah I would go with the ASUS as well.
Seems like a good monitor.
