I'm having trouble finding a suitable replacement for fans that come stock in a case. The problem is that the case comes with molex powered case fans, and i own an Aerocool Touch-2000 and i don't want that 60 dollar investment to go to waste. My question is can i save myself some money and buy a gender changer of some sort for a molex to 3-pin connection so its compatible with the controller? Or shall i just go for broke and spring for some new fannage? This rig is all about extreme cooling, I'm running 8 fans, 6 on the controller and 2 that are always at 100%. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Not positive if it will allow your controller to change speeds but would be cheap to try versus buying new fans.

Hmm looks promising, although i just read a few revies on the controller and they said that they may not controll correctly if used with the converter. But ill be purchasing one of the gender changers as you suggested and try none the less. I mean whats $2-3 anyways.
