i have a toshbia Satellite. my buddy has a harddrvie he will give me if it's the right one here is the model number of the harddrive he has

can you guys tell me if it will work with my lap-top? IDM DCRA 22110

I don't think so... only due to size... that is an older HD with a thicker body than the newer ones. What model lappy do you have, for camparision?

It's the A75, and it might just fit... My wife has one very similar to it... and there is some head room in the HD compartment... give it a shot.

open up your laptop, and when you look inside you can tell if you have some room (height) to play with then it should work? But if I looked up the correct drive why would you want to put a 5 GB hard drive in it, when you have a 60GB now? (just curious)
