Default mobo for i7

I was looking at - EVGA 141-BL-E757-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX X58 SLI LE Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

but I want to know.. on my last rig I bought an evga 750i ftw, and I also have a pci sound card.. the sound card blocks nearly all of the space around the lower video card.. When I make my purchase, can I buy an evga 3x sli so my cards have more room to breath, though I would only be using sli not tri-sli.
